USD 25,000.- Donation to Intelligent Go

Intelligent Go is delighted to announce an anonymous donation of USD 25,000.-. These funds will be applied as follows:

1. Partial funding of the Intelligent Go Prize at the computer go tournament planned for the 2001 US Go Congress.
2. Funding of the "Hirai Prize", a prize for superior research in computer go (details forthcoming).
3. General foundation purposes.
