Intelligent Go obtains 501(c)(3) exempt status, appoints directors
Intelligent Go has received IRS 501(c)(3) status as a tax-exempt charitable organization, as well as the corresponding exempt status under California law. This means that donations made by individuals are now tax-deductible.
Intelligent Go also has expanded its Board of Directors with the recent appointments of David Fotland and Anders Kierulf, two leaders in the field of Computer Go, who join Bob Myers on the board. The new board will be the body making decisions such as the venue for the 2nd 21st Century Cup competition.
