Intelligent Go Foundation (Intelligent Go) is a charitable non-profit organization incorporated in California, USA, and is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) or the Internal Revenue Code.
Intelligent Go is dedicated to the promotion of Computer Go.
Intelligent Go was founded by Bob Myers, a medium-ranking amateur Go player with a strong interest in computing. See here for information about how we are organized.
Intelligent Go solicits funding from founding sponsors and others, and uses this funding to support its activities -- such as to award prizes at computer go competitions, or fund worthy research projects in the field of Computer Go.
